I am assuming you are a US citizen looking to work in those areas. Most likely you will not get a work permit. It is very difficult to get work permits for hotel personal unless it is for management or executive level positions. First the company usually only pays legal fees for those positions in order to apply for the permit, and secondly you have to prove to the government that you have skills that the company cannot find without bringing in an expat. I have experience in this area since I am a US citizen working in Jamaica and it was hard for them to get my permit even with 7 years with the company and at an assistant executive level management.
